Two houses, connected inside
SAKON is the black house on the left, UKON the white house on the right. They connect inside like hotel connecting rooms, and your group has both to itself.
The houses are renovated Kanazawa machiya. The ground floor has a dining room facing the garden and a kitchen; the bedrooms are upstairs. The interior was renewed in December 2025.

Four bedrooms: three with double beds (one of them has two doubles) and a tatami room with four futons.

Not provided: loungewear, slippers, rice cooker, toaster, iron. Towels are not changed during your stay (please use the washing machines).
Your stay
- Check-in / out
- Check-in from 16:00, check-out by 11:00. Late check-out is not available.
- Self check-in
- There is no staff on site. We send entry instructions by message two days before check-in.
- Capacity
- Up to 10 guests. We cannot accept more than 10 under Japanese law.
- Luggage
- On check-in day we can keep your luggage in the entrance from 12:00. We cannot keep luggage after check-out.
- Parking
- No parking. Coin parking nearby costs about ¥1,500 per night. The lane in front of the house is too narrow for cars.
- Quiet hours
- This is an old machiya with limited soundproofing. Please keep quiet after 22:30.
- ID
- Japanese law requires a passport copy from guests who live outside Japan. We ask for it before arrival.
- Smoking
- No smoking indoors. Please use the designated outdoor spot.

- Omicho Market is about 15 minutes on foot; most buses from Kanazawa Station stop there
